Purpose of this website
This is the official information and casting website for the independent film project While We're Young. It provides project information, acting and crew opportunities, application routes and production contact details.
Production information may change
The film is in pre-production. The working title, script, characters, schedule, locations, roles, funding arrangements and other production details may change. Information will be updated when decisions are confirmed, but nothing on this website guarantees that filming, a particular role or a particular arrangement will proceed.
Applications and participation
Submitting an application or receiving an audition request does not guarantee a role. No applicant is committed to participate until the relevant details, consents and written arrangements have been completed. Under-18 applicants must involve a parent or guardian in further casting and production arrangements.
The production may close, alter or withdraw an opportunity and may consider an applicant for a different suitable role. Applicants should provide accurate information and must not submit material belonging to someone else without permission.
Support and Patreon
Patreon memberships are voluntary support for the development and production of the film. They are not investments and do not provide ownership, profit participation, decision-making authority, employment, or cast, crew or producer status. Any supporter benefit is subject to the description and availability shown on Patreon. Payments, renewals and cancellations are administered by Patreon.
Appropriate contact
Official casting communication is sent through the production's named email addresses. Applicants should not be asked to attend a private meeting alone or to keep production contact secret from a parent or guardian. A welfare or conduct concern can be sent to safeguarding@whilewereyoungfilm.uk. This address is not an emergency service.
Website content and intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the project name, written material, design and original artwork on this website may not be reproduced, republished or presented as another production's material without permission. Visitors may share links to public pages and download material only where a download is expressly provided.
External links and services
This website links to third-party services including application forms, IMDb and social platforms. Those services are responsible for their own availability, security, content and privacy practices. A link does not transfer responsibility for those services to the production.
